Summer Fundraising Complete

Early this summer the Royce Library Recovery Project submitted three grant applications to finance the remainder of the archival project. It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Josiah Royce Society, the Royce Foundation, and the Society for the Advancement of American philosophy have all generously contributed to the cause and now the fundraising phase is complete.

The bulk of my research, thus far, has focused on the “June 16th Bindery List.” Soon I will be shifting gears and directing my attention to locating and identifying the  “Schelling Collection.” Below is a list of the items I have cataloged, broken down according to library and type.

  • 26 bound pamphlet volumes, containing 266 pamphlets of which 14 contain marking and marginalia
