The principal researcher and designer of The Royce Library Recovery Project is Dr. Ermine L. Algaier IV. I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Monmouth College and a 2017-2018 Katherine F. Pantzer Jr. Fellow in Descriptive Bibliography at Houghton Library, Harvard University. I earned my doctorate in Religious Studies at Temple University (2015) and have also completed an MA in Continental and Eastern Philosophy at Brock University (2006). My current work focuses on reconstructing the personal libraries of William James and Josiah Royce. I am the managing editor of William James Studies and At-Large Representative (2018-2019) of the Josiah Royce Society. I have published articles in William James Studies, The Pluralist, and Environmental Ethics and won two Young Scholar awards for my writing.
